Welcome back to The Garden Statement’s 2015 Warped Tour Photo Gallery! On Monday, we brought you pictures from Being as an Ocean, While She Sleeps, and Senses Fail, which you can look at here. Today, we’ve got even more photos for you to turn into your phone/computer background of Man Overboard, Siverstein, and Have Mercy!
Up first, the pop-punk juggernaut that has become Man Overboard. I’ll be the first to admit I’m not the biggest fan of their music, but there was something in the summer air that helped the songs sound even better, especially with a few thousand fans singing along in the background.
Up next we have a band whose longevity is as inspirational as it is unexpected. Silverstein have never strayed from what they started out as, and that dilligence garnered them a very respectable crowd on the Monster Stage. Mixing new jams like “Stand Amid the Roar” with tried-and-true classics like “Smile In Your Sleep,” Silverstein catered to any fan of their music, with a live performance brimming with energy to accent each track perfectly.
Last but certainly not least is a set of photos from a band that is quickly becoming one of my absolute favorites, Have Mercy. Their alt-rock tinged emo is impossible to be unmoved by, and the crowd at PNC Bank Arts Center rewarded the band’s energetic set with an unforgettable response that vocalist Brian Swindle proclaimed the best set he’d ever played upon its completion. They may have been on the smaller Kevin Says Stage this summer, but something tells me that they’ll be playing on even bigger stages very soon. Put simply, Have Mercy is incredible.
What’d you think of the photos? Feel free to use them however you wish, and definitely take the time to check out and support these fine bands. Still haven’t gotten enough Warped Tour photos? Fear not, because necxt week we’ll be unveiling photo sets from two of the most popular acts on this year’s Warped Tour: PVRIS and The Wonder Years! Until then, see you later!
